TAP/KNOCKING

KNOCK, KNOCK!!! HI CAN YOU COME DO YOUR JOB???
That me, knocking on my body 24/7 365 days. Now you might think I’m crazy. Why is she betting herself up? Before you say you’re crazy let me explain.
When you have Cerebral Palsy, you sensor on like a 30sec delay because it’s that not the brain not doing job because it is, just on a delay because the impaired in the brain from the Cerebral Palsy (I’m not say anything we all know that are brains are impaired from Cerebral Palsy, (so please don’t get offended by what I’m saying or trying to say.)
All my lift my mom and my PT have said if only “ I can type myself or if you carry full length mirror You would be doing what you should be doing” Well that not going to happen. A few weeks ago my trainer show me the tapping/knocking idea. (well I’m sure people have taught me all my life but I’m just starting to wise my lazy ass up and listening, it must be the fact that after 40 yrs I’m at the listening point and slowing down point in my life LOL).
So, what the tapping/knocking idea. It simple because our brain sensor take a few second longer then a brain without impairments to make things go a little quicker just tap or knock on the area that you want to work. This is like a person waking you up from a deep sleep, you are basally startled the mussel that you want to work to say “COME OUT AND DO YOUR JOB OR I’M GOING TO FALL ON MY ASS”
How hard and how long do I have to do this? It is like starting a car. You just want tap the gas so the car turns over because if you turn the key to much you are going to flood the car. (yea I don’t drive but I know the inside of a engine, dad girl, just leave him holding a 1000 lb engine and run to the bathroom you will never live it down LOL). All you need to do it until you feel that mussel “SAY OK I’M UP, NOW WHAT” Then go on with moving that mussel.

I hope you know I only use hip because that the weak part on me but if your hemi and trying to get your arm moving then use the tap/knock idea on that.
